Autism Education Recognition Award 2008
M. Annette Kratzer, Penn State Cooperative Extension for her work to educate early childhood teachers and caregivers in Autism.

Thank you to all our recipients and all the people who make a difference in their daily lives promoting Autism awareness, education and acceptance.
I believed it was time to recognize the people who were making real efforts in Autism.

The three categories I chose were the ones I founded Autism Advocacy on which are Awareness, Education and Acceptance.

Each year I choose three individuals who are making a difference in one of those areas.

Each year it is hard to choose only three but I am reminded there is always the next year to recognize three more individuals doing  outstanding work in these areas.

Thank you to everyone who loves and supports others who may have differences, knowing that being different is not a negative thing, but rather something that makes them unique and very special.
